Straight from the mouths of Fall of Olympus...
Okay well here it is. The flyer you've been patiently waiting for. June 10th at Respectable Street we have a benefit show that hits the closest to home out of all the benefit shows we've been a part of.
The man responsible for the existence of our favorite bass player in FoO, Chris Davis, has taken ill with the mother fucker we all know as cancer. Now his outlook on beating this piece of shit is promising, but, as it turns out, chemo will knock you straight on your fucking ass, and his pops will be laid up for a little while and unable to work. Here's where we, and you all, come in. That's what this benefit is for. We are hoping to help pad his recovery as much as we can so he can keep a roof over his head, and his lights on, and all that good stuff that we all kinda take for granted sometimes.
ANYTHING that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. We've got all kinds of bad ass raffle prizes to give away and you will be able to donate at the door as well if none of the things we have to offer quite tickle your pickle. We, as in Fall of Olympus will be selling shirts for a mere $5 the entire night, with all those dollars going into the pot...
We've got bar tabs, tattoo gift certificates, tickets to burlesque shows, and so much more cool shit. So mark your calendars for June 10th and come spend an evening with your boys in FoO because, all the charity stuff aside, we aren't playing again until November lol.
See you all there!
